2 - I think the video represents a higher social class and shows a luxurious lifestyle.

3 - The music video uses intertextuality from the popular film ‘Mean Girls’ which is aimed at a teenaged girl audience.

4 - I think the representations in the video are very unlikely and unrealistic. The school lifestyle is made to seem luxurious and the school looks up to Ariana Grande just like in the film ‘Mean Girls’ where they look up to the main character Regina George.

5 - I think this video follows the codes and conventions of a music video.

6 - It creates a positive manner because it presents women as individuals and stops the view that women should be reliant on men.

7 - I think globally the context can be taken differently in different places. The video is very American so the video is different to people from different backgrounds.

8 - The social contexts of the piece represents the different social classes.

9 - Different audiences are supposed to react differently to the different approaches to school life.

10 - The reality of the music video has been re-represented because of the intertextual references.
